Jang Geun Suk's "You're My Pet" Japanese Promotion Tix Sold Out

Jang Guen Suk will be at the Osaka Dome in Japan on February 11 to promote his recent film "You're My Pet." Kim Ha Neul and other fellow actors from the film will be at the event as well. This promotion will include singing and dancing performances, as well as a talking segment. The Osaka promotion tickets for "You're My Pet" quickly sold out right after the opening, and nearby hotel accommodations prices skyrocketed to approximately $700. Many credit Jang Geun Suk's never-ending popularity for this success.

Jang Geun Suk is better known than any other Korean actors starring in the movie. Moreover, he has a wide-ranged fan base in Japan, unlike many other Hallyu stars in Korea whose main fan base is middle-age women. Based on his popularity, Jang Geun Suk has previously had a successful concert tour throughout Japan, selling more than 100,000 ticket throughout his 10 shows, which includes a sold-out concert at Tokyo Dome.

An official of the movie's promotional event commented, "The selling out of 'You're My Pet' tickets have been a good opportunity for us to re-examine Jang Geun Suk's popularity in Japan. We hope that this would create more opportunities for other Korean stars to draw attention in Japan."

Jang Geun Suk Di Tuduh Memalsukan Tinggi Badanya??

Bintang Top Hallyu Jang Geun Seuk  telah dikelilingi oleh kontroversi tentang tinggi badannya. Baru2  ini, pada episode  tanggal 2 Februari di acara “Kuwazugirai-Ou” yang disiarkan di Fuji TV, ia dipasangkan berdampingan dengan Noritake Kinashi. Setelah keduanya terlihat di tv, netizens telah berdengung tentang perbedaan ketinggian antara keduanya.

Tinggi Jang Geun Seuk  di profilnya adalah 182 cm dan tinggi Noritake Kinashi adalah 177 cm. Ketika netizens melihat mereka berdampingan mereka mulai menjadi ragu  tentang Jang Geun Seuk dan dia mengatakan bahwa tinggi badannya adalah 182 cm. Netizens menuduhnya mengatakan, “Keduanya memiliki perbedaan ketinggian 5cm tapi tinggi badan mereka tampaknya sama”, ” Jang geun Seuk sebenarnya  adalah 182 cm kan?”.

Namun, ada tuduhan seperti itu  , ada pula yang masuk akal dengan mengatakan, “Bagaimana kalian  bisa tahu jika perbedaan ketinggian 5cm mereka mutlak hanya dengan melihat itu?”, “Tidak masalah”, “kalian TIdak dapat berargumen   hanya dengan menonton rekaman itu” .

Jang Geun Suk believes he can win over the hearts of his anti-fans

On January 28th, KBS’s ‘Entertainment Weekly‘ went to the set of Jang Geun Suk‘s photoshoot for a brief interview with ‘Prince of Asia’.

When asked about how he felt about his anti fans, Jang Geun Suk confidently answered, “I believe in my anti fans. I think someday they’ll fall for me”.

Without suppressing his laughter he continued, “As a fan of myself, I’m rooting for me”.

During the interview he was additionally given a mission to strike a pose after hearing a statement. Here he posed cutely and blew kisses to the camera, as he was asked “Height, Body, Face, there is nothing I don’t have” and “I am the current trend”.

Jang Geun Suk was also asked, “What part of your body are you the most confident in?”, in which he thought about and answered, “My Eyes”.

He then revealed his humor by posing with his eyes rolled up.

1,400 Japanese fans in attendance for Jang Geun Suk’s recent fan meet

Jang Geun Suk proved that he was still a leading figure of Hallyu.

The actor/singer recently held a special fan meeting, ‘2012 Lotte Duty-Free Shops Jang Geun Suk In Star Avenue‘ at the Dom Art Hall in Children’s Grand Park on January 28th. An impressive 1,400 Japanese fans showed up for the event, proving the star’s international fame.

The meet and greet was nothing short of a concert. Jang Geun Suk sang “Hello Hello“, the soundtrack to his drama, ‘Mary Stayed Out All Night‘, as well as his Japanese debut single “Oh My Darling“, and his yet to be released upcoming single, which earned the warm applause of the audience.

He also planned a few special events for the fans, and gifted one of the winners with a T-shirt and jacket he personally wore during one of his advertisement shoots. The star also selected two members of the audience to come on stage and take pictures with him, and revealed photos of himself which were taken during his day to day activities & his World Tour.

This venue in particular held fan meet and greets in rapid succession, as JYJ held one at the location on the 14th, followed by Kim Hyun Joong who held a meet and greet on the 21st. Boy group Big Bang also held one at the same location right after Jang Geun Suk, which caused quite the stir amongst their fans.

Jang Geunsuk and DJ Big Brother to debut as unit group "Team H" in Japan

After a successful solo debut in Japan early 2011 with "Let Me Cry", Jang Geunsuk is set to release a project mini album together with DJ Big Brother. They're named after "Hanyang", the university they met.

Under the name of "Team H", the two will be revealing a Japanese version of their earlier release Taiwanese mini album "Lounge H Vol.1" on March 21st. The Japanese version will be given a total renewal with new tracks, new packaging and fresh artwork.

The album consists of electronic dance songs, and will have the much anticipated "Gotta Getcha" as one of its tracks. The actor turned singer performed the song last year during his "Tokyo Dome Tour" Concert.

Park Shin Hye Picked as First Model of “MBC Music”

Park Shin Hye has been picked as the first model of MBC’s new music channel, “MBC Music.” Known for being an avid music fan, Park Shin Hye filmed the TV commercial and promotional photos for the new channel on December 28 and 29. The overall concept of the ad was Park Shin Hye’s “interaction with music on a trip."

The reason MBC Music picked Park Shin Hye as their first model is because of her fresh and comforting image. MBC Music felt her personality would fit well with the channel’s overall concept.

“Music is a precious source of inspiration to me. I’m a huge music enthusiast, so this filming felt more like a trip of my own. I hope the viewers will be able to enjoy a variety of music through MBC Music,” Park Shin Hye said in a statement.

A video of actor Jang Geun Suk shuffle dancing with LMFAO is creating quite the buzz online. Jang Geun Suk’s agency uploaded a video clip via their official Youtube page on the 9th, and it was footage of the actor visiting LMFAO during their performance in Tokyo.

Although it was the actor’s first time meeting them, Jang Geun Suk immediately made a connection with them without being awkward.

LMFAO has started a shuffle-dance trend across the globe, and Jang Geun Suk informed them that he was a huge fan of theirs and that he too shuffle dances where ever he goes.

New preview of Jang Geun Suk & YoonA’s drama ‘Love Rain’ revealed

On December 31st, a small preview of the upcoming drama ‘Love Rain‘ starring Jang Geun Suk and Girls’ Generation member YoonA aired during the ’2011 KBS Drama Awards’.

Jang Geun Suk plays the dual role of a handsome ’70s art student named ‘Seo In Ha’, and his son in the year 2012, a free-spirited photographer named ‘Seo Jun’. YoonA, on the other hand, also has a dual role playing the innocent ’70s campus goddess ‘Kim Yoon Hee’, as well as her daughter in 2012, ‘Hana’. Seo In Ha and Kim Yoon Hee fall in love in college in the 1970s but unfortunately their love was fated to never be. Their children, Seo Jun and Hana meet by fate and they also fall in love. Will history repeat itself or will Seo Jun and Hana go down a different path?

The drama was exported for $9 million USD to Japan and is scheduled to air through KBS2 some time in 2012.

(News) Ekspresi Kelelahan & Kurangnya Istirahat Yonghwa CN Blue Membuat Fans Khawatir!

CNBLUE Jung Yonghwa terlihat lelah dan kurang istirahat saat sedang perform di SBS Gayo Daejun 2011.

Keempat member band ini perform lagu mereka  “Intuition“ di Part 2  SBS Gayo Daejun 2011 yang diselenggarakan di Ilsan pada 29 Desember lalu. Sebelunya mereka melakukan panggung join dengan  girl group Wonder Girls, dan mereka perform “Tainted Love” bersama2.

Namun selama performance “Intuition”, Jung Yonghwa menunjukkan tanda2 kurang istirahat dan terlihat sangat tidak nyaman saat sedang bernyanyi lagu dengan kurangnya keahlian powerfulnya yang biasa.

Setelah menyanyikan bagiannya, dia mengalihkan wajahnya dan dia terlihat benar2 lelah. Ekspresinya buruk, namun  Jung Yonghwa menyelesaikan perfome lagu. Meskipun begitu, tampilannya membuat fans khawatir.

Menurut agensi CNBLUE  FNC Music, “Heartstrings“, dan “Because I Miss You” dari album OST  ‘Heartstrings’ berada di posisi 1 di chart2 mobile mingguan seperti   ‘emome‘, ‘Far EasTone Mobile‘, dan juga ‘Taiwan Mobile‘.

CNBLUE menyatakan “kami sangat berterima kasih pada fans Taiwan yang menunjukkan banyak cinta dan dukungan untuk   ‘Heartstrings’, bahkan meskipun kami tidak merilis lagu   offline. kami akan memberikan kembali pada mereka dengan musik yang lebih baik.”

(News) Jang Geun Suk Lagi2 Menyumbang Sebesar $30,000 USD!

Jang Geun Suk baru2 ini membuat headline karena menyumbangkan 1.2 Juta dollar ke kampusnya, Universitas Hanyang. Awal bulan ini, terungkap kalau dia menyumbang lainnya sebesar 30.000 dollar USD.

Sebesar 30.000 dollar dibagi sebanyak 3 kali dengan 10.000 dollar USD  yang diberikan ke organisasi2 yang berbeda seperti untuk  panti asuhan di Kangnam dan yang lainnya untuk sebuah  organisasi yang memberikan bahan bakar yang disponsori oleh NGO.

Panti asuhan di Kangnam sebenarnya sangat membutuhkan dukungan, karena tidak hanya panti asuhan tapi juga  fasilitasnya yang buruk. Hingga Oktober, mereka memakai   gas boiler untuk memanaskan gedung sebelum organisasi2  diberikan untuk rekonstruksi tempat. Sayangnya, dana2 tidak cukup untuk  menyelesaikan proyek.

Mendengar kasus ini, Jang Geun Suk menutupi biaya2 sisanya dan membantu panti asuhan menyelesaikan konstruksi, membiarkan anak2 untuk menghabiskan musim dingin yang sehat dan hangat.

Pada 28 Desember, perwakilan mengekspresikan, “Setelah mendengar mengenai panti asuhan, Jang Geun Suk-ssi khawatir banyak mengenai keselamatan anak2. Dia ingin membantu banyak dalam cara2 kecil yang ia bisa dan mengirimkan undangan untuk mereka. Dia senang karena mereka semuanya hangat dan aman dan sebenarnya besyukur pada mereka. ”
